| Sophie Schoukens è una storica dellarte, con un Master in Scienze delle comunicazioni e in Cinema. Ha cominciato
la sua carriera con uno stage di recitazione a New York. Nel frattempo ha seguito dei corsi di sceneggiatura
condotti da Frank Daniel (Columbia University). Di ritorno in Europa, è diventata produttrice cinematografica.
Cinque anni fa circa, ha venduto la sua compagnia per lavorare alla Commissione Europea al
Programma MEDIA. Nel 2005 lascia il programma Media per girare il suo primo film. Sophie Schoukens is an art historian with a Master in communication sciences, a Master in film and a graduate from Eave, Binger and Arista. She started her career as a stage actress in New York. During four years in the Big Apple, she also attended intensive scriptwriting classes with Frank Daniel (Columbia University). On her return to Europe, she became a film producer About five years ago, she sold her production company Sophimages to join the European Commissions MEDIA.
