Sinossi: Julie, una giovane cuoca di talento, non ha mai conosciuto il padre. Quando per coincidenza lui arriva nel villaggio della figlia, lei deve prendere una decisione: vuole incontrarlo, dopo tutti questi anni? Quando Julie scopre che la sua passione per il cibo è lunica cosa che ha in comune con il padre, smette di cucinare.
Synopsis: Julie, a talented young chef, has never met her father. When by coincidence he arrives in her village, she has to make up her mind: does she want to meet him after all these years? When she finds out that her passion for food is the one thing she has in common with her father, she gives up cooking.

| Biografia / Biography: Leyla Everaers è nata ad Istanbul nel 1981. Dopo aver studiato graphic design a Rotterdam per quattro anni, nel 2003 ha frequentato la Dutch Film Academy. Nel 2006 e 2007 ha lavorato come assistente alla regia per diversi lungometraggi olandesi, come Kan door huid heen di Esther Rots, Taartman di Annemarie van de Mond e Olvier Etc. di Sandy Burger. Attualmente Leyla sta lavorando ad alcuni suoi progetti che includono un altro film per la Dutch Film Academy: Avonturen in de Avonduren (Nightfright), che è stato selezionato per il CineKid Film Festival di Amsterdam.. Leyla Everaers was born in Istanbul in 1981. After studying graphic design in Rotterdam for four years, she attended the Dutch Film Academy in 2003. In 2006 and 2007 she worked as an assistant director for several Dutch feature films, such as Kan door huid heen by Esther Rots, Taartman by Annemarie van de Mond, and Olvier Etc. by Sandy Burger. Currently she is working on her own projects, including another film for the Dutch Film Academy, Avonturen in de Avonduren (Nightfright) which has been selected for the CineKid Film Festival in Amsterdam.
